The Administrative Workgroup aims to improve processes utilizing clinical data, care coordination, and involve representatives of Ohio health plans in clinical and administrative data exchange. The committee is open to all health plans and reports to the HIE Committee.

Vision

The Administrative Workgroup’s vision is to collaborate among health plans, physicians and hospitals to develop services to improve the delivery of healthcare using clinical data for increased effective payment management.

Objectives:

• Develop and implement four services that provide a committee-defined return on investment
• Provide health assessments results to medical records
• Collect discharge summaries with ADT (admission discharge transfer)
• Enhance patient care coordination
• Support remote audit functions
