Connect with other physicians and hospitals across the state through Ohio’s new electronic health information exchange -- CliniSync.
Learn how Regional Extension Centers can help you use electronic health record systems to achieve meaningful use.
As of March 2014, 18,532 Medicare and Medicaid incentive payments have been made to providers totaling $747.6 million dollars. Medicare paid $491 million in 12,182 payments to providers while Medicaid paid $256 million in 6,350 payments to providers. This includes both hospitals and eligible professionals and encompasses The Partnership and HealthBridge’s total numbers.
Ohio met its federal goal of signing up 6,000 priority primary care physicians to adopt electronic health records in January 2012, the highest of any Regional Extension Center in the nation. These physicians receive free services to adopt EHRs and reach Meaningful Use requirements. While additional physicians signed up, they are not grant-funded because they are in practices of more than 10 physicians.
"We want transparency, patient choice and patient confidence in the exchange of their electronic health information."
